Social Events Programme
The Local Organizing Committee has set up a specific social events program for FEBS EMBO 2014 attendees. The different activities will be good opportunities for conference participants, accompanying persons and exhibitors to meet and renew old acquaintances or establish new links.
Opening Ceremony
Saturday 30 August, from 17:30 to 20:00, at the Palais des Congrès
Included in the registration fees of conference participants and registered accompanying persons
The Opening Ceremony will be held in the Grand Amphitheatre of the Palais des Congrès, on Saturday 30 August from 17:30 onwards. All participants, accompanying persons and exhibitors are cordially invited to attend.
Welcome Drinks, following the Opening Ceremony
Saturday 30 August, from 20:00 to 21:00, at the Palais des Congrès
Included in the registration fees of Conference participants and registered accompanying persons
Following the Opening Ceremony, a Welcome Cocktail will be offered to all attendees from 20:00 in the Palais des Congrès. Do not miss this Get Together Party!

Conference Dinner on the River Seine
Wednesday 3 September 2014, evening
A wonderful way to enjoy the capital in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere while admiring its monuments and bridges at night time: come and join in for a dinner cruise on the Seine river! While tasting refined French cuisine on board and smoothly navigating on the river, you will have magnificent views over Paris and its historical landmarks.
The Dinner Cruise will be an excellent opportunity for delegates and their spouses to renew old acquaintances or establish new friendships.
Limited number of participants.
Prices per person:
95 € for delegates - 100 € for accompanying persons
