FEBS/EMBO Bursaries
The application deadline for FEBS/EMBO bursaries was 1 May 2014
If you applied for a FEBS/EMBO bursary, when submitting your abstract; all conditions of eligibility are listed below.
You will be notified of the result by 30 May at the latest.
General conditions of eligibility:
- Bursaries can only be awarded to applicants who have submitted an abstract
- PhD students and post docs are eligible only if they are the presenter (first author) of the poster
- The application can only be made when submitting an abstract
- The applicant must explain briefly why he/she needs a bursary
- Awards will amount to the following values:
- Applicants working in Paris/Île de France: registration fee only
- Applicants working in France: registration fee + 250€ towards travel and accommodation
- Applicants working in Europe: registration fee + 350€ towards travel and accommodation
- Applicants working outside Europe: registration fee + 500€ towards travel and accommodation
FEBS bursaries:
- FEBS Bursaries will be awarded to applicants under 35 years old in 2014 who are members of a FEBS Constituent Society, with the exception of the FRENCH society members who may apply to the SFBBM fellowships
- Documents that have to be provided with the application:
- Copy of ID or passport stating date of birth
- Confirmation of membership of a FEBS Constituent Society
- Bursaries will include reimbursement of registration fee and a travel/hotel allowance (see above).
- Recipients will be reimbursed after attending the Conference.
EMBO bursaries:
- There is no age limit
- There is no restriction of nationality or working place
- Bursaries will include reimbursement of registration fee and a travel/hotel allowance (see above).
